Jacob Hadden is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Georgetown. Posted a 7.42 in the 60. Primary LHP is a lean projectable build with feel to mix effectively. Works a simple operation engaging the backside well with a repeatable delivery staying online. Did a good job keeping fastball low in the zone and hitters off balanced with his breaking ball showing 1/7 shape landing in the zone and fade on the changeup that was difficult against RHH. In the the outfield he has athleticism in his actions through the play. Fundamental feel for the glove is in sync with footwork and transitions clean to a quick release. Right-handed hitter starts even upright base with a hip coil load and short stride into contact.Has some quickness in the hands controlling the barrel with impact out front. Swing is balanced on a level plane geared to contact consistently leveraging gap to gap in his round. Good student.
