Connor McBrearty is a 2021 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-9 171 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson HS. Medium frame with compact, athletic build. Switch-hitter, wraps back in load from left side, line drive swing plane that will drift a bit, showed contact skills; more compact and quick from right side, more strength from this side, showed ability to pull the ball with authority on a line. Worked out in the infield, balanced through footwork, winds way up for throws, clocked up to 72 mph across the diamond. Also pitched, big rocker step back into high leg lift, compact tight arm stroke, effort through three quarters slot, short stride downhill, worked 66-69 mph and threw only fastballs, some sink there. Good student.
