David Terrones is a 2022 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Rancho Cucamonga. Medium to Large frame with a lean, athletic type build showing strength throughout the frame. Ran a 7.60 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his stance on one knee, even while throwing down. Gains ground and was accurate to the bag as he recorded a 2.02 second pop time. Fits the profile well and will make big strides with fundamental clean up's. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a belt high leg lift while he turns the back side. Uncoils and then did a good job of staying direct to the dish. Working with an over the top slot and finished downhill. Fastball up to 80 mph and mixed in a sweeping slider as well. Also proved to have some feel for a 12-to-6 breaking ball. Secondary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure he keeps it in front of him. Gathers and then shuffles into throws. Confident with the glove as he threw it 80 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting spread out with a closed off front side. Strength in hands showing as he utilized an uphill swing path. Pull-side approach as he took big hacks at the baseball. Created easy power when he squared it up. Outstanding Student.
