Jeffery Maidhof, Jr is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Nation Ford HS. Big athletic build, good present strength with more to come. Compact simple delivery with good gather over the rubber, short stride with a upright release, extended 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, has good running life at times, heavy fastball that gets on hitters quickly, works mostly arm side with his fastball at present. Curveball has good sweeping break, will occasionally lower his arm slot at times and get under it. Throws strikes and challenges hitters. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall open stance with a big bat wrap start, moves into contact well, mid field contact, repeats his swing well. Outstanding student.
