William Cocke is a 2024 C/RHP, 1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Clarksville, TN who attends Clarksville Academy. Cocke Ran a 7.46 sixty yard dash. He has a sturdy athletic frame with plenty of strength present. Primary catcher William starts with a wide slightly off set lower half. He receives the ball well out front with some quickness to the glove to hand transfer. There is a slight transfer of weight to the front foot as he gains some ground to second with very accurate throws. On the mound William starts with a belt high leg lift while landing slightly open. He worked with a high 3/4s arm slot with effort at release. The fastball sat in the mid to upper 70s while mixing in a CH with very late fade to it and a 12-6 shaped breaking ball with some depth. Right handed hitter he starts with a wide base with a short stride going forward at trigger. He shifts most of his weight to the front side while using a lot of his upper half. The swing is flat through the some with some speed to the barrel. He is an excellent student.
