Cannon Stuckey is a 2023 C/RHP with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Wildwood, MO who attends Lafayette. Recorded a 7.30 second sixty yard dash time. Large frame with a strong and physical build. Primary catcher with a high and side straddle set up. Utilizes a compact arm circle and has obvious arm strength with smooth transfers, feet trail behind at times and can work on his body control/repeatability. Definitely has the tools to improve. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a medium leg lift and an online stride down the slope. Utilizes a medium arm circle with a hook behind, comes from a three-quarters slot with head whack upon release. Fastball was heavy and showed tail/sinking action. Was more comfortable and threw more strikes on the arm side. Slider had two-plane shape with late bite, got some swing and miss when down in the zone. Right-handed hitter with an open and spread stance, rocks back a bit and uses a minimal stride. Creates torque and the hips/hands are very explosive. Good leverage to the pull side, strength in obvious in the swing. Has impressive bat speed and showed some feel for the barrel. Aggressive approach and can impact the ball to both gaps. Adjustability within the swing can continue to improve moving forward. Great student. Named to the 2022 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
