Jordan Baynes is a 2023 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Hiram, GA who attends Mceachern. Ran a 7.81 second sixty. Primary catcher with a strong build showing present strength in the frame. Behind the plate he sits in a side straddle stance moving quickly to the ball with good footwork getting rid of the ball on time with young arm strength while making accurate throws to record a 1.93 second pop time. Right-handed hitter, stars with a narrow base and slightly open stance. Gets into the lower half very well with a small stride into contact creating minimal pre-swing and allowing the barrel to play out front routinely with a good punch at the point of contact as wellas showing above average bat speed to project on moving forward. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
