Cy Craig is a 2022 OF/LHP with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Jackson, MS who attends Jackson Preparatory. He showed plus speed with a 6.57 second sixty. A primary outfielder with compact athletic build. In the outfield he glides to the ball working through it well as he maintains momentum into his throws with solid carry on the ball flight making accurate throws to the bases. Left-handed hitter, starts with a balanced stance using a simple timing mechanism before allowing the hands to work level through the hitting zone with good intent and bat speed as he sprayed hard hit balls around the yard with his best juice to the pull side showing up in game action where he collected two hits. Very good student. Named to the 2021 Gulf Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
