Jackson Taylor is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Tall, athletic build with long limbs and strength to project on. Good runner, ran a 6.94 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, slower footwork getting to the ball, breaks down and fields it out front with a clean funnel, quick and efficient transfers with developing arm strength. Showed limited range throughout the round, corner profile. Recorded throws across up to 78 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in an upright stance, sinks into the lower half in the load, has bat speed and feel for the barrel. Struggled to consistently get extended throughout the round but flashed the ability to impact the ball to the pull-side. Quickness in the hands stood out. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side steps to a moderate leg lift out of the windup, compact arm action in the back to a three-quarters release. Short stride down the mound, front foot lands closed, filled up the zone with a two pitch mix. Fastball plays true, up to 78 mph (2006 RPM), and curveball has rolling depth, up to 68 mph (1789 RPM). Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
