Christian Key is a 2022 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Terrell, TX who attends Sunnyvale. Medium frame and stocky build with some present strength. Recorded a 7.64 second 60 yard dash time. Primary corner infielder, bends to receive, quick arm and short arm action. Long gather and high effort delivery. Shows sound turns and a sure-handed glove at first base, skills project the best there. Secondary outfielder, fields it deep on the back foot, low and accurate throws with good carry. Right-handed hitter with a low hand set and simple leg lift trigger. Long and loose swing path, has the tendency to swing around the ball and let the front side leak. Shows a quick bat and good impact when on time. Will really improve as the timing becomes more consistent. Great student.
