Nicholas Pratt is a 2022 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Langston Hughes. Clocked at 7.27 seconds in the sixty-yard dash Medium, athletic build with strength remaining to be added. Primary shortstop with athletic movements in the field with quick feet. Continuing to develop arm strength, recorded at 72 miles per hour from shortstop. Some slight adjustments to fundamentals playing through the ball would improve carry on throws. Secondary right-handed pitcher, a wide base with quick side rocker step into an above the waist leg kick, using whole frame to stride down the mound. Long arm action with a slight hitch in his arm circle, coming from an over-the-top arm slot, ran his fastball up to 79 miles per hour. Showed a developing feel for breaking ball, filled with the strike zone with strikes with his two-pitch mix. Right-handed hitter with exaggerated high-hand set and high-back elbow and a slight leg-lift trigger. Very loose swing creating some barrel whip. Line drives back up to the middle of the field with the addition of strength could see more carry on the ball. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
