Will Shelor is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Hamilton. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Works from the stretch with a high energy delivery, works cross body out front creating some angle, deceptive mechanics. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, gets on hitters quickly, flashes plus late running and sinking life. Has big arm speed on his change up with hard late fading action. Curveball had nice power with good 11/5 depth and tight spin. Reliever delivery but starter's mix and showed good feel for the zone. Good athlete with some positional talent and skills. Aggressive to the ball in the outfield with a quick release on his throws, made very accurate throws with good on line carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a short move into contact, has good strength in his hands with middle of the field line drive contact. Good student. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
