Jonathan Regalado is a 2008 C/3B from Hialeah High School in Hialeah, Florida, with a strong 5'11'', 215 lb. frame. He has a thick upper body with good present strength. At the plate he hits from the right side with a no load approach and uses a very low hand set. Regalado shows bat speed with raw power potential. He is an aggressive hitter who swings the bat hard, but still makes consistent contact. He will learn what pitches to drive with power to the pull side, and what pitches to hit the opposite way. Defensively he has a good set-up with some lower half quickness. His all-around catching skills are still developing, but he has the feet to be successful.
