Alonzo Daniel Jr. is a 2022 C with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Mentone, CA who attends Redlands East Valley. Medium frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.55 seconds. Primary catcher, has a side saddle set up, with a pause at the bottom of his transfer. Has a decent arm ball has carry, still developing technique. Hits from a wide stance with a straight front leg loaded onto his back leg. Has a gentle long swing and barrels the ball up, uses the whole field. Consistently hit line drives to right field has a middle-away approach. Excellent student.
