Drake Cole is a 2023 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Henry Clay. Recorded a 7.73 second sixty yard dash time. Primary catcher with a high and side straddle set up, gains good ground towards second but still keeps the operation compact. Quick arm with a quick transfer and release as well, quality actions with good fundamentals present, projects well with added arm strength. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and open stance, utilizes a big hanging leg lift trigger and an even hand set. Loads into the back hip well but struggles to get off the back side at times. Downhill path with a middle to opposite field approach, the operation is clean overall and projects well with more lift and bat speed. Great student.
