Austin Neese is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Recorded a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman with a very physical and strong build. Good fundamentals with balance in the infield and methodical footowork. Worked through the ball with clean glovework. Easy arm strength and accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Can leverage the barrel with strength coming off. Power plays to both gaps and jumps off the bat. Meets the ball with very goof hand and wrist strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to belt level. Lands on line and uses a clean, medium length arm actions, releasing from a mid-3/4 slot. Fastball topped at 84 mph with sink and held velocity firmly. Repeats operation and delivery is compact. Short depth to the curveball and great consistency with the changeup, featuring dive while missing lots of bats. Advanced command and feel to locate full repertoire.
