Riggs Barrett is a 2020 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Calallen HS. Recorded a 7.37 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with lots of present strength and physicality throughout. Primary catcher with a taller stance but a smooth and easy set up. Soft hands and receives well. Feet work well with quick transfers and a quick release. Good arm strength recorded up to 75 mph with a best pop time of 1.97 seconds. Righthanded hitter with a balanced stance and an open, slightly crouched set up. Smoothness to his hand path with good strength off the barrel. Works to the pull side and likes to be aggressive with a loose, easy swing and lots of strength at the point of impact. Good student.
