Skylar Stinson is a 2023 RHP/C, MIF with a 6-0 135 lb. frame from Apopka, FL who attends Apopka. Long and lean frame that has great projection as he matures. He has a good feel to cut angles o the infield, and gains ground well. His glove works when timed and some carry on his throws. The right-handed hitter has a toe tap start with his bat rested on his shoulder. Smooth stroke with good rhythm and has pretty easy bat speed. The ball jumps when squared and the length through contact should develop into some loft power. The right-handed pitcher has nice upside on the mound, already showing good arm strength. Some arm side run to the fastball that peaked at 80, with some life that resulted in swing and miss. He rides his back hip well and should lead to future velocity. Two different shapes on breaking balls and the slider should be a future go-to pitch. Good student.
