Hunter Rodgers is a 2026 C/RHP/IF with a 5-8 142 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends St. John's Country Day. Young build with lots of time to grow and get stronger. Switch-hitter at the plate, has a short and simple swing from both sides of the plate, stays balanced and directional well, has some lift out front that will grow into some power down the road, pretty equal from both sides, good base to build from. Primary catcher on defense, comes out of his crouch well and shows athleticism, quick exchange with a nice short arm action and good arm strength for his age, makes accurate throws. Also pitched, works from a semi-stretch delivery with a compact delivery and a short stride out front, has some energy at release and tends to pull his front side early. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, showed nice tight spin and some depth on his curveball. Good young athlete who will keep improving in all areas.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
