Nick Robert is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-6 220 lb. frame from Stuart, FL who attends Martin County. Extra-large, athletic frame with broadness to shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, gathers into back hip over the rubber and utilizes a compact arm action through the back side; generates big sinking life on fastball up to 91 mph with upwards of 20 inches of horizontal life, will induce plenty of ground ball contact given the life of the heater, works to the lower part of the zone well with heavy life. Developing feel for a consistent breaking ball, tends to raise up slot on curveball release up to 72 mph; flashed a changeup as well up to 79 mph. Moves well for size away from the bag at first base, big target to throw on to, solid arm strength and carry from a higher slot across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and pulls them back at start of swing through load; uses long limbs well to generate extension out front, occasionally opens front side early but shows nice present bat speed and jump off of the barrel when squared.
