Jacob Ward is a 2021 RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who attends Land O Lakes. Medium frame with some length and plenty of room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher, only pitched at this event. Simple and repeatable operation, medium arm circle in the back with a quick shoulder through a high three-quarters slot creating short life and some run to the arm side on the fastball. Works the fastball to both halves of the plate while mixing in a curveball with side spin and more depth than bite but showed sweeping action when he was able to get around it. Two-pitch mix that projects with added strength to the frame. Outstanding student.
