2019 PG National Underclass West Showcase
Oliver Bolduc is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Larkspur, CO who attends Castle View HS. Slender athletic build, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, has a big lower half stride into contact, has a loose swing with some present bat speed and more to come, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, has some lift in his swing and showed his power potential, has the hitting tools to continue to develop as he gets more physically mature. 7.28 runner, has a good arm action and gets carry on his throws on defense, comes to the ball well, young footwork going to his left. Also pitched, compact arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, throws cross his body at release. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. showed some spin and good two-plane break to his curveball. Flashed a change up to left handed hitters with nice fade. Showed feel for all three pitches and threw strikes. Good overall athlete and player who will continue to improve. Good student. Named to the National Underclass West Top Prospect List.
