Heriberto Emmanuel Garza is a 2021 C/RHP/1B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Rio Grande, TX who attends Rio Grande City. Strong athletic build, especially in the lower half. Switch-hitter, has similar approaches and bat speed from both sides of the plate, hits from a spread straight stance with a simple and repeatable trigger, swing is a bit wrapped and longer from the left side but is able to create barrel whip/speed with his strength, puts the ball in the air and has solid gap to gap power, loose and extended out front. Quick exchange behind the plate, has good carry on his throws, showed lower half quickness in his actions. Good student, verbal commitment to Rice.
