Dillon Lester is a 2023 C/SS with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Deer Park. Ran a 7.08-second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium frame and athletic build. Starts from a lower set behind the plate, receiving out front and getting through the ball well. Gains ground to second base, staying smooth through the actions and getting on top of throws well. Makes accurate throws to second base at 78 mph and posted a 2.01 pop time. Also worked out in the infield, showcasing easy actions with smooth footwork and accurate arm strength. Athleticism shines through in the infield with a short arm action and throws up to 83 mph. Switch hitter that took batting practice from the right side. Starts from an even stance, with a high hand set and some quickness to the hands. Loads with a leg lift trigger, showing some lift to the bat path and generating impact off the barrel. Good student. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
