Bruno Diaz is a 2005 middle infielder/third baseman from Guaynabo PR with a physically mature build that shows strength at 5 ft. 9 160 pounds. He has a short compact line drive swing and shows good strength in his hands and forearms. He is a fundamentally solid hitter with a contact approach and the ball jumps off his bat. He had a good round of BP making solid contact to all fields. He had an outstanding at bat during the games where he fouled off 10 pitches and then got a base hit off an 88 mph fastball. Defensively He has very smooth actions good footwork and a decent arm across the infield. He has good hands and a very quick release. Bruno is sound defensively and a good hitter that will probably end up being a third baseman at the next level.
