John Francis is a 2021 OF/ with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Wallingford, PA who attends Strath Haven. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.94 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with leg lift trigger, very steep entry to hitting zone, middle-field approach, torques and shifts well into swing, hands work inside the ball and stay there, shows solid contact skills. Worked out in the outfield, comes in on ball well, shows athleticism to footwork, quick transfer, clocked up to 76 mph on throws back to the infield. Very good student.
