Conner Melady is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-8 240 lb. frame from Mount Dora, FL who attends Mt. Dora. Extra Large frame with a filled out build showing broad shoulders. Ran a 8.89 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working from a tall windup with a long side step. Chest high lift as he strides out and lands open. Released from a high three-quarter slot. Utilizes the frame as he works downhill. Fastball up to 82 mph as he lived it the zone with it. Also mixed in a slurvy breaking ball that was a good pitch when around the zone. Secondary First Baseman, sitting back as he shows the glove out front early. Proved to have some feel for the glove as he scooped it up. Worked into transfer while showing proper footwork. Threw it 75 mph across the diamond. Right-Handed Hitter, wider base with high hands as he works into a toe tap to stride. Longer swing path as he gets it going early, looking to get the bat head out front. Pull-side approach as he looks to drive it for power. Proved to have thump in the bat when timed up properly. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
