Christopher Castellano is a 2019 RHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Xavier HS. Large frame with good strength throughout build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.59 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, long arm action up to higher slot release, deceptive delivery that he repeats pretty well, fastball worked 66-71 mph and did a good job of throwing strikes with the pitch. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth, also worked in a knuckleball. Hits from even-based stance, set narrow, hitches hands up into load, shows barrel skills, good contact ability. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball well, shows ability to be quick, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Good student.
