Raymond Cabrera is a 2018 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Medium frame with slender, projectable present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.96 seconds. Sets up to hit from even based stance with high back elbow; coils front hip into load, slashing bat path, shows some bat speed with good hand quickness. Smoothness to barrel action, did a god job making consistent contact. Worked out defensively in the infield, shows soft hands with solid footwork to and through ball, clean to backhand, has big time arm strength with an arm that really works, threw up to 89 mph across the diamond with lots of carry. Named to 2017 Sunshine East Top Prospect List.
