Jonathan Bay is a 2025 C/RHP/3B with a 5-7 185 lb. frame from Saint Johns, FL who attends Bartram Trail. Compact strong young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a short shift into his swing, simple and repeatable swing mechanics, has strong hands and creates some bat speed, has lift out front and got good carry to the middle of the field on multiple occasions, projects well as a hitter. 7.20 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low behind the plate, has good quickness coming out of his crouch, throws have some carry, receiving skills still developing but has the physical tools to keep improving defensively with more repetitions. Also played some middle infield. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
