Austin Musgrove is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-8 115 lb. frame from Florahome, FL who attends Keystone Heights. Lean and projectable build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.08 seconds. A primary SS, he showed a very quick first step and was always light on his feet. Showed soft hands to both sides of his body. His best throw across the infield was clocked at 71 mph which will improve once the frame gets more strength on it. At the plate he hits out of an even stance and has aggressive intent in his swing. Has a middle of the field approach which pairs nicely with his flatter path through the zone. Showed solid bat speed and loose wrists throughout his stroke too. Good student in the classroom as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
