Jaden McReynolds is a 2020 1B/3B, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Union, NJ who attends Union Catholic. Medium frame with an athletic build and wiry strength. Primary first baseman with smooth paced footwork while centering the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through transfer with loose exchanges. Released from a three-quarters arm slot and created some carry across the infield at 63 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing deliberate actions while closing to and working through the baseball. Funnels off to side and worked through exchange with developing fluidity. Released from a three-quarters arm slot topping at 70 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and toe tap trigger. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Smooth hand path to baseball with a linear barrel plane through extension. Displayed good strength at contact with the ability to drive the gaps. Very good student as well.
