Trenton Overbeck is a 2019 3B/RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Whittier, CA who attends La Serna HS. Big broad shouldered high waisted build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.47 runner, moves well to his left defensively, fields smoothly out front, can get more lower half into his throws, loose arm with good extension out front. Right handed hitter, toe tap trigger, rotational upper body swing with tight hands through the zone, front side comes off early, pull contact with some top spin. Also pitched, compact arm action from a high 3/4's slot. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight. Threw one curveball that had good depth and could throw more of them. Very good student.
