Connor Binkley is a 2022 C/RHP/1B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Auburn, KY who attends Logan County. Big and present strong build, pretty mature physically. Primary catcher but graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Works from a full wind up on the mound with a high leg raise start, gets coiled well with his lower half, has a short and quick arm action, gets down the mound very well with his strong lower half. Fastball worked up to 86 mph, got outstanding life on his fastball that created lots of swing/miss, worked down in the zone consistently. Tunneled his curveball very well with his fastball, got some tight biting action on the pitch. Also threw a developing change up. 7.39 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with an early close, tight hand load, has a short swing with some strength and bat speed, can get extended better to tap into his power. Young actions behind the plate, has the arm strength and athleticism to continue to develop with fundamental work. Outstanding student. Named to the Sunshine Atlantic Coast Top Prospect List.
