Michael Knorr is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-6 215 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Carlsbad. XL frame with athletic, well-proportioned build and long limbs. Primary righthanded pitcher. Compact arm stroke through the back to three quarters arm slot; does a good job using lower half in delivery and driving downhill. Generates good extension through release out front. Easy, effortless delivery throughout. Fastball worked 86-88 mph with good arm side life; did an excellent job painting the fastball to both sides of the plate at will. Worked to all four quadrants of the zone effectively. Showed curveball with 11/5 curveball; soft shape and depth with the ability to land it for strikes. Showed changeup as well with some arm side fading life. Did a very good job pounding the zone with three pitches; mixing and matching to great effect. Named to 2017 Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List; good student.
