Mason Robertson is a 2019 LHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Orillia, ON who attends Patrick Fogarty Secondary. Big and strong athletic build, long arms. Simple side step/leg raise delivery, deep arm hook in back, lands very closed out front with a big cross fire arm action coming through, high 3/4's arm slot, hips don't always get clear due to cross body release. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, gets good angle on his fastball, mostly straight, pitches aggressively with his fastball and keeps it down in the zone. Curveball had tight spin and good depth when he was able to get his hips cleared, threw strikes with his curveball as well and was effective with lots of weak contact. Right handed hitter, long swing with some pop in his barrel when he stays back, tends to get out on his front side early. Good student.
