Trevor Andrus is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Amarillo, TX who attends Amarillo HS. Strong and athletic build. 6.74 runner, has good footwork through the ball in the outfield, very good arm strength with low on line throws, repeated his mechanics consistently and made very accurate throws. Right handed hitter, busy lower half load, load will occasionally effect timing, aggressive swing with present bat speed, pull to mid field approach, ball comes off the barrel hard, line drive swing path. Also pitched, big pause in his delivery at the top, high 3/4's arm action, arm is fast and loose and seems to work with his unusual delivery. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, gets good angle down in the zone and throws lots of fastball strikes. Curveball had tight spin and some bite, picked up strikeouts on both his curveball and rare change up. Nice all around athlete who plays hard and enjoyed playing. Good student.
