Justin Hozman is a 2020 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Cambridge. Athletic build with present strength. Ran a 7.32 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Displayed the ability to work around and through the baseball with athletic actions and confident glove actions. Showed good range working both ways in the infield to go along with a clean back hand working through it into throws well. Displayed clean transfers into throws with accurate carry across the infield topping out at 79 MPH to first base. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright stance with a high hand and back elbow set up and a big leg lift trigger. Showed a slightly elevated barrel plane through the zone looking to create driven contact to and through the gaps in the outfield. Flashed the ability to create loud line drives at times to the pull side with good bat speed and the ability to get the barrel out front and extended with good barrel speed. Excellent student.
