Jacob Misiorowski is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-5 160 lb. frame from Grain Valley, MO who attends Grain Valley. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size and strength. Ran a 7.26 sixty-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a smooth paced rock step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays tall and balanced on back side at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Lands at a slightly closed position on front side and carries momentum to glove side. Loose arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Showed good feel for fastball to each edge of the plate while generating some downhill plane in the low to mid 80's, topped at 84 miles per hour. Curveball had 10/4 shape with solid spin and good depth in the low 70's. Consistently looked to work ahead of hitters early in counts and change speeds late. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing smooth paced, deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels the baseball out front and works through exchange with developing fluidity. Long, loose arm circle at separation and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws produced stiff, on line carry to the bag topping at 89 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple front side trigger. Shifts into contact with linear lower half actions. Loose path to contact with a level barrel plane through extension. Primarily utilized a mid field approach but flashed the ability to turn the barrel and work to pull side as well. Tools will continue to develop with maturity. Good student as well.
