Cole Adams is a 2019 RHP/UT with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Medium and skinny frame with lots of room to fill with added strength. Ran a 7.52 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, directional delivery getting inline at the balance point, lands with front foot landing open, arm works from a clean and full arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, leads with his front hip down the mound, hides ball through the back, around the zone with all pitches changing speeds nicely, competed on the mound with some explosion to his delivery. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some sink, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, offered a sinking changeup with similar arm speed as the fastball. Secondary utility who worked out in the infield, reads hops well with solid infield actions, bends at waist during gather showing good footwork throughout, smooth movements with good hands and average arm strength, topped out at 77 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, leg lift trigger used for timing that is executed well, some barrel control to stroke going to all fields, mostly line drive contact during round working primarily to his pull side. Good student.
