Tyler Caton is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Palm Beach Central. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Two-way prospect with solid athleticism. Throws from a three quarters arm slot with whippy arm action. Can drop the arm angle down lower to generate more sink/run on the fastball. His fastball was up to 84 and pairs it with a good changeup thrown at similar arm speed. Also throws a curveball as well. Loose arm in the field and was up to 88 MPH from the outfield. Throws have good on line carry. At the plate, has a wide-base with an athletic swing. Middle of the field approach and found the barrel to all fields. Good bat speed and hand quickness. His highest exit velocity was 89 MPH. Great student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
