Cole Zebley is a 2018 SS/ with a 5-5 145 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard West HS. Compact frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 7.37 sixty yard dash. Primary shortstop with compact, athletic footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels the baseball cleanly out front with smooth glove to hand exchanges while working through transfer. Flashed athletic actions while ranging for baseball and working through slow roller. Created some carry across the infield topping at 72 mph. Right handed hitter with an upright, very open stance. Front side gets back to even while shifting into contact with linear actions. Hands launch on an uphill plane through extension and connects with baseball off a taller front side. Flashed occasional pop off the barrel with some bat speed with squaring contact out front. Stayed balanced throughout with a high contact approach. Good student as well.
