Daniel Davila is a 2020 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Flowing Wells. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.57 seconds. Hits from very narrow-based stance, starts open and strides online with hips, gets hips through well, momentum-driven swing, line drive swing plane with good barrel feel, showed ability to work to all fields. Worked out in the infield, hands work very well when fielding, swivels hips well and gets in athletic position to field, clean crow hop with good arm strength, clocked up to 82 mph across the diamond. Also pitched, slinger arm stroke through lower three quarters slot release, deceptive through delivery, fastball jumps at hitters, worked 76-82 mph with fastball and created excellent angle. Worked in sweeping curveball with good bite and depth. Very good student, named to 2018 National Underclass West Top Prospect List.
