Brian Kalmer is a 2019 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Corona Del Sol. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds. Swings the bat hard with intent, creates very good separation and shifts well into contact, very good bat speed through the zone with positive launch angle, gets the barrel out authoritatively and drives the ball with legitimate carry deep to pull side, power projects well. Worked out in the infield, good athleticism to both sides, very good to glove side, highly accurate across the diamond with good arm strength, clocked up to 82 mph. Very good student, named to 2018 National Underclass West Top Prospect List.
