Hunter Cheek is a 2018 3B/RHP with a 5-10 192 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Smithson Valley HS. Has broad shoulder, good size in legs, and present strength in build. Posted a 7.52 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, moves well to the baseball and is able to throw from multiple slots with good arm strength on throws across. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base and high hand set. Deep hand load, good lower half weight shift into lift through contact, has bat speed and strength, ball comes well off the barrel. On the mound, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with long arm action, slight crossfire generating good running life on fastball, curveball has 11/5 shape with slurvy break.
