Eric Hammond is a 2021 RHP/IF with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Keller. Long and lanky square shouldered build, lots of physical projection remaining. High leg lift delivery, deep arm action in back, extended 3/4's arm slot, lots of energy at release but it didn't impact his command in the least, big time arm speed. Fastball topped out at 95 mph, maintained his velocity very well, gets huge life on his fastball at times. Curveball shows power and tight spin when on top of the ball with a high spin rate, will get under it at times for more of a slider look. Some feel for his change up. Arm speed/strength and life on his fastball really stand out. High ceiling young arm. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Southern California. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
