Drew Gugino is a 2021 MIF/OF with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Christ The King School. Recorded a 7.52 second 60-yard dash time. Younger player with a slender build and room to develop physically. Primary middle infielder with easy and clean actions. Makes the plays well and moves well laterally. Accurate arm and fields the ball well out in front of the plate; should continue to improve as he adds strength. Lefthanded hitter with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Level swing plane and flashes extension through the point of contact. Easy trigger into a loose and low effort swing. Wide base with a spread open stance with a contact oriented approach. Can drive the ball to all fields and keeps his hands close to the body.
