Gannon Pharr is a 2024 2B/IF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Sterrett, AL who attends Chelsea High School. Nice lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced slightly open stance, big leg pull back start with a controlled drift into his swing, long and loose swing with good rhythm and extension through the ball, showed his power well in the game and in batting practice, projects well as a hitter as he gets stronger. 6.97 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense but profiles best as a third baseman with his build and actions, has a long over the top arm action and creates good carry on his throws, gets his glove down early and fields cleanly, moves to his left well and stays balanced. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
