Brayden Sites is a 2020 SS/2B/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Sheridan, AR who attends Sheridan. Medium frame with an athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary shortstop with smooth paced footwork while surrounding the baseball. Flashed solid range to each side while moving to the baseball. Funnels cleanly and worked through exchange with fluidity. Released from a three-quarters slot, but flashed the ability to throw from multiple arm slot on the run as well, topped at 80 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing athletic footwork while moving to and through the baseball. Polished glove actions and pick up and maintained momentum to target while working through exchange. Throws produced accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 87 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and hanging front side trigger. Created some linear shift into contact with lower half. Clean hand path to baseball with a naturally lifted barrel plane. Looks to create extension at contact and drive the baseball to the middle of the field. Produced sharp, loud contact to each gap when squared. Very good student as well.
