Charlie Berryman is a 2023 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Mountain Brk, AL who attends Mountain Brook. Ran a 7.58-second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a slender frame that has room to fill out and add strength. Has a good gather, fielding off the front foot with a big crow hop into release. Has some young arm strength, making accurate throws up to 81 miles per hour. Also worked out in the infield, showcasing range and smooth hands to field. Has a long arm action to throw, generating some carry across the diamond at 79 miles per hour. Left-handed hitter that starts from a tall and open stance, with a simple leg lift trigger and longer path to contact. Has developing bat speed, getting the hands extended out front and executing a pull-side approach. Has a linear barrel plane, with developing feel for the barrel and some bat-to-ball skills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that starts from the windup with a small side step to a belt high leg lift. Stays online at foot strike, getting good extension over the front side toward the plate. Has a long and loose arm action, with good arm speed from a three-quarter slot, showing good control of the fastball at 77-79 miles per hour. Has developing feel for a mid-60s curveball with minimal shape and depth, while the changeup at 67 miles per hour plays well off the fastball as a good combo. Stays poised on the the mound. Good student.
